"I am loving the writing support group because it continues my healing process from the trauma I experienced. I’m able to talk about it and the group helps me realize that I have overcome certain trauma, but still need some healing. I’m seeing that I’ve been through a lot but I still stand tall and I am a woman of strength. I won’t let trauma overtake me, I will overcome it, with the help of the Yet I Speak Writing Community Support Group.

"The biggest lesson I have learned from the Yet I Speak Writing Community Support group is that it's okay to share my feelings with others. I also learned it's okay for others to talk & share their thoughts & feelings. I feel the writing group has allowed me to feel more comfortable and safer with other people. The writing community was relaxing for me. I had some days that I cried because the topics were touching and allowed me to think outside the box. One goal I have set for myself is to keep connecting with people to support each other. I will take more time for myself to relax and join more support groups. I will also write more letters to myself to help me think about the things I don't talk about."

"I was grateful and honored to be the opening speaker for this play. Elaine Crocker is so brave, so courageous to share her story of trauma. She is helping so many to speak about their own trauma and get help and know that they are not alone. I can wait for the next production"
Monica Gary
"Miss Elaine a thousand thank you’s. My sister came to your play and she was truly impacted. I’m so thankful to you and the mental health professionals that were present for her to speak to. This play marked a new page for her healing journey."

"I got so much out of this play; the play talked about male victims of sexual assault. Yes men are victims also. Like it says in the play; don’t judge anyone just support them and help them come out of the corners of shame and squash the torment."
