Yet I Stand is my true story and aims to inform and raise awareness about sexual assault trauma.  Our audience leaves this production with information to help themselves and others who have been assaulted and what is needed for them to feel safe, heal, and thrive.  This event will bring together individuals who have experienced sexual trauma as well as other forms of trauma, this includes children, adolescents, and adults. Families and Friends, by helping the victims cope with their experiences, we’re also helping their loved ones understand and provide better support.   As individuals heal, they can contribute positively to their communities. Moreover, raising awareness about sexual abuse trauma and its effects can lead to more empathetic and supportive communities.
